Fire System Maintenance for an Oil & Gas and Mining Site
Scope of Work-
Fire Alarm
- Inspected and test Fire Alarm system to the requirement of the Alberta Fire Code and in conformance with CAN/ULC-S536, Inspection and Testing of Fire Alarm Systems and CAN/ULC-S561, “Installation and Services for Fire Signal Receiving Centers and Systems.”
- Provide Isolation request of the fire system through the Fire Protection authorization as Isolator and Provide support to Emergency Service as per fire authorizations
- Report & Trouble shoot Fire System and Monitoring System issues.
Fire Water Systems
- Water-based fire protection systems include sprinkler systems, standpipes, hydrants, hose systems, water spray fixed systems, foamwater sprinkler systems, foam-water spray systems, and fire pumps.
- Inspected and test Fire Water system to the requirement of the Alberta Fire Code and in conformance with NFPA 25, “Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance of Water-Based Fire Protection Systems
Special Fire Suppression Systems
- Inspected and test Special Fire Suppression Systems to the requirement of the Alberta Fire Code and conform to standards,
- NFPA 11, “Low-, Medium-, and High-Expansion Foam”
- NFPA 17, “Dry Chemical Extinguishing Systems”
- NFPA 2001, “Clean Agent Fire Extinguishing Systems”
- NFPA 15, “Water Spray Fixed Systems for Fire Protection”
Public Address and General Alarm Systems (PAGA)
- Inspected and test PAGA Systems to the requirement of the Alberta Fire Code and conform to NFPA 72, chapter 14
